Civil War Living History Weekend               Maysville, Kentucky
Old Washington, Maysville. Artillery cannons and wagons. Battles each day through 1700s village flagstone street and onto Federal Hill. Sutlers tents, reenactors rendezvous in village streets, camps, famous persons portrayed, ladies tea and contests. Ongoing scenarios in and around town such as duels, mail call, pay call, medical demonstrations and village folk dramas. Visit with Harriet Beecher Stowe as she strolls the streets and speaks at the Harriet Beecher Stowe Slavery to Freedom Museum. Civil War displays, period dance in the town square and church service on Albert Sidney Johnston’s Home Museum lawn, Civil War historians, roundtable discussion with Gen. Robert E. Lee and President Abraham Lincoln in village meeting house.

Battle of Bacon Creek Bridge                  Bonnieville, Kentucky
Bonnieville. Bounty awards for pre-registered: $50 each first four canons, $100 largest Confederate and Union infantry (minimum 10 rifles), $100 largest Confederate and Union cavalry (minimum five horses). Saturday and Sunday battles. Pre-registration by Aug. 1 for amenities. Reenactor and sutler fees waived. Saturday night reenactor dinner and camp dance. Parade and more. All donations go to the preservation of the Battle of Bacon Creek Bridge Event. Hosted by the 1st Kentucky Confederate Division.

Battle of Richmond                  Richmond, Kentucky
Be an integral part of Edmund Kirby Smith’s 1862 Invasion of Kentucky and site of Patrick Cleburne’s greatest victory. This battle is thought to be one of the most complete victories either side had during the conflict. Whether infantry, cavalry or artillery, all reenactors and sutlers are welcome. Great camps, amenities, battles at 2 p.m. both days, camp demonstrations, living history music, church service and guided tours.

The Battle of Barbourville                    Barbourville, Kentucky
Join us in revisiting that foggy morning when the 30 members of the Barbourville Home Guard held off the approaching Confederate army of 800 on Sept. 19, 1861. The Home Guards pulled the planks off the bridge, to stop them, but, they were out gunned and out numbered. Battle both Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Period Church Service on Sunday. Infantry, Artillery, and Cavalry demonstrations during the day. Several different military performances and skits. Authentic weapons, uniforms, etc. See blacksmiths working in the shop. Visit the General store and bring your lawn chair for the Battle.
