3rd Annual Civil War Encampment July. 14 - 16, 2006 Marilla, New York
Marilla Town Park, Marilla. Battle reenactments Saturday and Sunday and candlelight tour Saturday evening. Saturday dinner provided by the Marilla Historical Society who sponsors the event with the 94th New York Company H and the Daughters and Sons of the Cause. Modern camping, restroom facilities, firewood, straw and hay provided. Registration fee: $5.

Civil War Battle Reenactment and Encampment August. 5 - 6, 2006 Liberty, New York
Walnut Mountain Park, Liberty. This site boasts a very authentic atmosphere with snake fences, artillery abutments, breastworks, trenches, log cabin and 250 acres to battle and camp on. We offer camp areas carved out of the mountainside woodlands specifically for Civil War reenacting. The event has a great sutler row and has a concession on site. Two spectator battles and two non-spectator battles.

8th Annual Hamlin Beach Civil War Encampment July. 18 - 20, 2006 Hamlin, New York
Hamlin Beach State Park, Hamlin. Hosted by the 4th South Carolina, 5h Virginia Company A, 43rd Virginia Cavalry, 49th New York, Company H and 94th New –York. The park gives us full use of the park facilities (hot showers, flush toilets and the beach). Wood, straw, hay for horses and water provided. Large battlefield for infantry, artillery and mounted cavalry. Battles Saturday and Sunday. Other activities include a “Summer Tea,” court martial, first-person impersonations, ladies day at the beach (weather permitting), period dance Saturday night and church service Sunday morning. Your ideas and scenarios welcome. Both authentic and modern camps.
